How long and how wide for your table runner?
The length of a table runner must be slightly greater than each end of the table — usually 20-30 cm on each side. For a table of 180 cm long, plan a path of 220 to 240 cm. Some of our models are sold per meter or in multiple standard lengths to fit all configurations. As far as width is concerned, a path of 30 to 40 cm is the norm for tables of 4 to 6 cutlery; it can be up to 45 or 50 cm for large gatherings ones. The ideal is that the path occupies about a third of the total width of the table, leaving visible a table strip on each side. This proportion creates a natural visual balance and highlights both the path and the table itself.
